We created a free tool that quickly finds any account you used to sign up for with a given email address, then helps you to delete them. This includes profiles you’ve created, services you signed up for, and newsletters you’re subscribed to (to name a few). The more accounts you’ve signed up for over the years, the greater the risk of the account experiencing a hack or data breach that could put your security at risk. You can only have one active data download request at a time. Mint will send you an email once this is complete. It can take up to 45 days for your data download to be prepared.

Enter your Mint password to proceed with the download.Ĩ. If you have other Intuit products, you can download your data from those accounts as well.ħ. Select “Mint” from the list of Intuit accounts. Verify you are logged in to the correct account.Ħ. Read the info about downloading your data and click “Continue.”ĥ. Go to the “Data & Security” tab of your account on Intuit and select “Download.”Ĥ. This will redirect you to your account on Intuit.ģ. Proceed to the “Intuit Account” tab of the “Settings” navigation. The download includes transaction and bill payment history, budgets, financial goals, credit report, any customized offers as well as your personal profile data. This is useful if you’re unsure of what info you’ve provided to Mint as well as to retain for your records if you are preparing to permanently delete the account. Some info may not be eligible for deletion for financial reporting or fraud prevention.During this time, you won’t be able to submit another request and you may no longer have access to your intuit and/or Mint account. It can take up to 45 days for the request to be processed and your account is deleted.Two things to note about the process to delete your mint account: Check your email for updates on the status of your request. Click “Data & Privacy” from the left-hand navigation on Intuit. Select “Intuit Account” from the left-hand menu.ĥ. This will bring you to your account settings on Intuit’s website.Ĥ. Since Mint is owned and operated by Intuit, the deletion process will bring you to Intuit’s website to proceed. This deletes all Mint account data, including shared services, usage, and artificial intelligence data. Please note, this is a permanent and irreversible practice.
